Every year on February 15th, we take a moment to recognize International Childhood Cancer Day. On this day, we celebrate the bravery of children fighting cancer and the support systems that help them through their journey. This year, we would like to highlight Cleaning for a Reason, a remarkable program that offers hope and comfort to families affected by childhood cancer.
Cleaning for a Reason is a non-profit organization that aims at brightening the lives of families with loved ones facing cancer by providing free house cleaning services. Founded in 2006 by Debbie Sardone, the organization cleans the homes of families of cancer patients, so they can focus on what truly matters- caring for their loved ones. The program is an ISSA charity powered by a network of compassionate maid services across the United States and Canada. All these well-meaning companies have come together to make a difference, no matter how little.
If you or someone you know is undergoing treatment for cancer, Cleaning for a Reason is here to help. The application process is simple and takes just a few steps:

Cleaning for a Reason is a shining example of how we can come together to support families with loved ones facing cancer. By providing free cleaning services, the organization helps ease the burden of housekeeping and gives families the peace of mind they need during difficult times. Let's spread the word about Cleaning for a Reason and show our support for families in need. Whether it's through sharing the program with others, donating, or volunteering, every little bit helps make a big difference.
